ClientOne of the largest companies in the local e-commerce market, offering products in Poland and over 20 international markets.

Client profile: A fashion industry company with several thousand employees across multiple offices in Poland.

Challenge

The dynamic growth in sales necessitated the quick expansion of the company’s structures. The client’s headquarters was located in a region beyond commuting distance from major urban centers, which could have been sources of valuable candidates.

  • Limited local talent pool: The local market had already been thoroughly vetted.
  • In-office requirements: The client required employees to be in the office at least four days per week.
  • Competitive job market: The company’s growth coincided with a broader boom in the e-commerce sector, offering candidates many attractive job opportunities.
  • Relocation necessity: In most cases, candidates needed to be convinced to consider relocation.

Process

1. Preparation:

Such a large-scale project required building project teams on both the client’s side and ours. We held regular meetings to share feedback on current recruitment progress and to stay updated on the client’s evolving organizational needs. These meetings were invaluable, especially with the involvement of technical experts who helped us understand key experience and skill requirements early in the recruitment process.

2. Search:

Given the dynamic growth in the e-commerce sector at the time, our preparation involved thorough market mapping. One of our main sources of information on potential companies for candidates was industry reports and rankings that highlighted key players and rapidly growing companies. Before initiating the search, we worked with the client to develop a competitive offer that balanced both career growth opportunities and financial motivation for candidates. A particularly important element of this offer was a compelling relocation package.

3. Search result:

Over the 12 months of the project, we successfully recruited leaders and team members for several key areas, including SEO and SEM, affiliate marketing, CRM, marketing automation, social media, and customer experience. During the project, the client also needed to hire a new E-commerce Director, and upon entering the omnichannel space, we also recruited a Marketing Director responsible for offline channels.

Results

Despite significant time pressure and unfavorable market conditions, our team successfully supported the client in filling key positions and developing several critical teams. This success would not have been possible without the client’s willingness to follow our recommendations on how to approach recruitment, design competitive offers, and dynamically adapt to the changing candidate market.
